Here are a few images that we took of Brandi & Chris's wedding last weekend. What a day a far as the weather the wind was blowing up to 80 mile per hour, plus rain was off and on. They had planned to have the wedding outdoors at Oaks Garden but they were able to change things and we had the wedding at the Crown Plaza Hotel. Some the other images were taken in the lobby of Casino Niagara. All and all things worked out. Thanks to Brandi & Chris for chosing Baldini & Vandersluys as their wedding photographers.

Last spring we were chosen by the Niagara Convention & Civic Centre as the official photographers at the construction site. It's been great working with Kerry Painter and Bonfield Construction. When finished in 2011, it will be a 232,000 square feet state of the art convention facility. We already have hundreds of images, from groundbreaking up till now. We will post more images as the construction and opening arrive.

Niagara Falls to Myrtle Beach

We've been traveling doing workshops and were recently involved in the evacuations from all the fires in Myrtle Beach, SC
During the mass exodus, even managed to take along a stray cat to keep him safe during the fires that ravaged much of the wildlands, carolina pines and homes in the n. Myrtle beach area. Winds gusting enabled the fire to dance across a 6 lane highway and engulf 5 houses in 4 minutes. Residents had minutes to escape that neighborhood. As of when I left, no casualties were reported.
This past weekend was in upstate NY for 3 days.

Now that I'm back at the studio, hope to be updating the blog shortly.

Last week, we went down near the Falls to do some snow portraits of Natasha and Ethan, who came down from Toronto for their Anniversary.
They celebrated by getting one of those fun Hotel/Spa packages and by having us do a portrait session for them.

Royal Bank Exhibit - Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls photographers Baldini and Vandersluys were offered a week's exhibit at the Lundy's Lane Branch of the Royal Bank in Niagara Falls.
We had a Holiday theme with a Royal Bank Christmas Portrait Holiday Special.

Yes, it's early to think Christmas but, not for photographers.

We got a quick shot of Michael Huitema, Senior Account Manager early Monday morning in front of the Royal Bank branch.
Michael came up with the idea to spotlight businesses in Niagara Falls that are Royal Bank customers and thinks it's a great idea that may move to other branches.

On Tuesday we photographed the Niagara Wedding of Jerry and StPetersbell at White Oakes in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario.
Now, I could tell that this couple was going to be a lot of fun from from our numerous phone calls from the bride.

StPetersbell is a student from the UK and she wanted her Wedding in the Niagara Falls area. She chose White Oakes in Niagara on the Lake. This is a beautiful location for a Wedding ceremony.

The sun was shining and it was a pleasant afternoon spent with the couple and their guests from Nigeria.

I wish we could have spent more time with them and their family. A really lively group !
The Bride looked elegant in a simple white dress and crystal teardrop veil.

Jerry was easy - to get him to smile all I had to do is say 'money' and he and his family would crack up...

After the Niagara on the Lake Wedding at White Oakes, the couple headed for Florida before returning home.
We got some great shots of the couple and their guests.
Thanks also to the staff at White Oakes, always a class act to work with !
