Niagara on the Lake Wedding Noreen & Ron - Oban Inn

The beautiful Historic Oban Inn in Niagara on the Lake was the setting for the Wedding of Noreen & Ron

We were witnesses for the happy couple. Parker, their schnauzer was Best Man.

Niagara Falls to Myrtle Beach

We've been traveling doing workshops and were recently involved in the evacuations from all the fires in Myrtle Beach, SC
During the mass exodus, even managed to take along a stray cat to keep him safe during the fires that ravaged much of the wildlands, carolina pines and homes in the n. Myrtle beach area. Winds gusting enabled the fire to dance across a 6 lane highway and engulf 5 houses in 4 minutes. Residents had minutes to escape that neighborhood. As of when I left, no casualties were reported.
This past weekend was in upstate NY for 3 days.

Now that I'm back at the studio, hope to be updating the blog shortly.

Claire and John got married this past weekend at the Peninsula Inn Niagara Falls Wedding Chapel on a cold but, sunny winter afternoon.
Smiles were all around and the Chapel did not have an empty seat as Claire and her son Michael entered for the Ceremony. (click on any image to enlarge)


Braving the cold, we got some great shots outside the Chapel, while all the wedding guests waited inside.

John and Claire had all their family join in for portraits in the cozy lobby by the fireplace at the Inn.

The scenery was beautiful with the freshly fallen snow and the colors of the sun setting far away...

So, Chris and Michelle had their Wedding at the Fallsview Casino Chapel on Friday.
The weather was a little warmer and we were able to do a few photographs outside near the front entrance.
The back of the Casino is all ice - beautiful but, not accessible to walking.
Everything went smoothly, as always by the Fallsview Casino Chapel coordinator.


This red background really showed off Michelle's fair complexion.


This dress gets my vote so far this year as the most beautiful we have photographed.


Michelle and Chris looked so elegant on that cold January Day.
Chris from New Brunswick was comfortable in this weather.
Michelle from Australia, really wanted snow photos to show all her friends and relatives back home.


The shoes were so cute, they got their own portrait!

Last week, we went down near the Falls to do some snow portraits of Natasha and Ethan, who came down from Toronto for their Anniversary.
They celebrated by getting one of those fun Hotel/Spa packages and by having us do a portrait session for them.

The sun was out, which made for some challenging lighting but, we had fun and decided to add a special at the studio in the next few weeks as snow portraits.

Ashley and Steve's Niagara Falls wedding

Ashley and Steve came from San Diego, my favorite city where it's always 72 degrees to have their Wedding here in Niagara Falls.
They wanted to have a sunset wedding at Oakes Garden Theatre but, it was very wet and a bit chilly outside, not to mention that a sunset would only be possible looking at the Falls from the U.S. side.

Ashley was game for pre ceremony photos inside the Fallsview Casino



So the ceremony was held indoors where it was beautiful and simple.

Niagara Fallsview Casino Wedding -Amy & Michael - Niagara Falls, Ontario

Michael and Amy's Wedding in Niagara Falls at the Fallsview Casino and resort was really great to photograph.
Seemed like their entire family traveled with them to Niagara Falls to attend.
I don't think Amy and Michael stopped smiling the entire day !
The weather was a bit on the cool side but, the Bride looked beautiful in her strapless gown.
And the photos in the courtyard of the Fallsview Casino were so worth the chill ! This said from the person wearing the warm coat ! Seriously, Michael and Amy were so psyched, I don't think they noticed the cold.
