Monday February 18 is an official holiday in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
This is the first Family Day held and will mean a long weekend for most government workers and about half of the population.

Ontarians are encouraged to go with the theme of the day and plan activities for the family to do together.

Niagara Falls Humane Society - Rescue dogs from Louisiana

I visited the Niagara Falls Humane Society yesterday to drop off some supplies for the animals.

They just received 19 dogs from Louisiana that were either unclaimed by owners, lost or running wild.
They are all beautiful dogs deserving of a loving home, after the long ordeal they have been through with hurricaine Katrina.

I remember seeing some of the distraught owners on the news, as they were boarded into buses and forced to leave their beloved companions behind.

Niagara Falls - Today we lost our best friend

Today, our sweet little Silky terrier, Bailey, who some of you have met at the studio and certainly "heard" from time to time, passed away.
She's been in countless photos and is probably hanging on a few walls. Charlie often used her as a prop. She always felt that was a tad undignified but, was happy to do anything Charlie asked of her.

She was a loving companion to us for 12 + years and we miss her so much.

Tony and Shelby August 25th Wedding in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The service was at St Thomas Moore Church. We then went down to the School of Horiculture to do some family and group photographs. After that, even though it was really humid and Shelby was tired, we went to another location down by the old police station to do some funky photos with some different architecture. Their reception was at Club Castropignaro. For their honeymoon Tony & Shelby went off for a trip to Italy. How lucky is that? Thanks all for a fun day, it was a pleasure working with the whole wedding party.
