Royal Bank Exhibit - Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls photographers Baldini and Vandersluys were offered a week's exhibit at the Lundy's Lane Branch of the Royal Bank in Niagara Falls.
We had a Holiday theme with a Royal Bank Christmas Portrait Holiday Special.

Yes, it's early to think Christmas but, not for photographers.

We got a quick shot of Michael Huitema, Senior Account Manager early Monday morning in front of the Royal Bank branch.
Michael came up with the idea to spotlight businesses in Niagara Falls that are Royal Bank customers and thinks it's a great idea that may move to other branches.

On Tuesday we photographed the Niagara Wedding of Jerry and StPetersbell at White Oakes in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario.
Now, I could tell that this couple was going to be a lot of fun from from our numerous phone calls from the bride.

StPetersbell is a student from the UK and she wanted her Wedding in the Niagara Falls area. She chose White Oakes in Niagara on the Lake. This is a beautiful location for a Wedding ceremony.

The sun was shining and it was a pleasant afternoon spent with the couple and their guests from Nigeria.

I wish we could have spent more time with them and their family. A really lively group !
The Bride looked elegant in a simple white dress and crystal teardrop veil.

Jerry was easy - to get him to smile all I had to do is say 'money' and he and his family would crack up...

After the Niagara on the Lake Wedding at White Oakes, the couple headed for Florida before returning home.
We got some great shots of the couple and their guests.

Angela and Dean's Niagara Falls Wedding

Angela and Dean waited a long time to become husband and wife and we are so happy for them !
We've been the Photographers for Angela and her family since she would come in at Easter for our live bunny photos ! and... she showed us they were still hanging on the wall at Mum's house.

The day was beautiful weather wise and so was the Bride.

The bride's dress was heavily embellished with a full train. The comment heard most frequently during the day was that she looked like a princess.
Formal photos were taken at the Niagara Falls School of Horticulture.



Angela and Dean had a very large Wedding Party. On Thursday evening they all got together for a pumpkin carving party and Club Italia was beautifully decorated with their creations. So festive for Thanksgiving weekend in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Matthew and Ella are from the UK and decided to come to Niagara Falls, NY for their wedding.

We did some fun shots of the couple around the archway in the park.
Tourists thought we were shooting a commercial and groups gathered to watch the photo session.

Near the Cave of the Winds in Niagara Falls, NY is a great stone archway near the bronze statue of Tesla the inventor harnessing Niagara's power as alternating current .

Ella looked beautiful in her backless gown.

The day was cloudy but, made for great photo conditions

Tabatha and Philip got married at Our Lady of the Cataract Church in Niagara Falls NY.
The building is the oldest in Niagara Falls New York. I know because there's a plaque out front that says so...
It's very near the Seneca Casino.




The bride and groom had their family in attendance for a traditional wedding.

And the photos and reception were on Goat island.
Philip and Tabatha, I know how anxious you are to get your beautiful photographs.

Niagara Falls Wedding -update

Got a call from George and Lisa from the UK and they sent a kind overview of their Wedding experience in Niagara Falls.

Dear Charlie & Jacqueline

George & I would like to thank you VERY much for all your hard work to make our wedding photographs so perfect. Our photographs turned out to everything we imagined and much more. You were terrific from the first time we spoke on the phone to the meeting we had the day before our wedding (sorry once again for being late) to the wedding itself and finally your rapid response & expertise in getting our photographs ready in a couple of days so we could have them to bring home back to England with us.
Charlie on our special day you and Jacqueline were extremely professional and attentive to all of our photograph desires, you both took every suggestion we had and made them into outstanding photographs. Both of you were very patient with the children and i can only imagine how frustrating that may feel when trying to do something that will mean so much to a bride and groom.
If there is ever a time in which we need the service of a photographer in Canada or if any of our family who lives there does you will be our first port of call. THANK YOU once again for making our special day so beautiful.

One last thing before we go, your blog on our wedding is fantastic that's the first time i have ever been told i look like a princess and to be honest when i look at the photographs i do feel like one thank you for these memories i will treasure forever.

Niagara Falls Wedding Oakes Gardens

We joined Lisa and George who had their wedding at Oakes Garden Theatre.
This Wedding was just gorgeous and so much fun to do.


The ceremony was set with the Falls as the background and family came from all over Canada and England to join Lisa and George as they exchanged vows.



Lisa looked like a princess and George wore the traditional kilt.
The ceremony began with a piper from St. Catharine's,the music was beautiful by Kelly Buckley,which set the mood for the entire event !
This was our first time working with Kelly and she is very talented.






It was one big celebration, as family members attending posed for priceless photographs that will be sent to others back home in England that weren't able to travel to be here.

Kelly looked wonderful in her silk gown and the whole wedding party was great to work with.

Pat and David we marrried this past weekend at the Queens Landing in Niagara on the Lake.
This was such a fun wedding to do. Charlie and I got to work together. The Queens Landing is a romatic setting for a wedding. Jennifer Bradshaw was the coordinator and everything could not have run more smoothly.



Pat and Charlie did some fun photos around the resort before the wedding.
Pat's makeup was done by Janine Child Makeup Art, who's an artist with makeup. Pat looked flawless. Janine is so good at keeping everyone calm and making them feel beautiful. Thanks for the makeup tips,Janine,we look forward to working with you again soon !


The guys were shooting some pool when we got some fun shots downstairs, like I said, this place is the perfect setting for your wedding...no hassle, no stress and Pat and David got to enjoy the day.

Couples come from all over the world, to the famous cataract to tie the knot.
people think of Niagara Falls as a summer destination but, we do just as many weddings now in the winter and early spring here in Niagara, they're just smaller.



Niagara Falls has always been a draw for honeymooners, I know my parents honeymooned in
Niagara Falls over 50 years ago.
